An evidence-based better practice set of resources and tools, focused on developing the capability of staff within residential aged care facilities to take responsibility for making changes in the workplace.

TOrCCh can be linked to a continuous improvement cycle (CI activity) and complements the accreditation process.

It is funded by the Australian Government and developed by project teams from the University of Western Australia and Curtin University.

The toolkit includes information flipcharts and pocket-book resources which provide a step-by-step course of action to follow from the first realisation that change is needed through all steps of implementing that change. The areas covered include risk management, maintaining change momentum, dealing with challenges and providing feedback.

The toolkit is freely available to download at https://www.perkins.org.au

DTA would like to show our respect and acknowledge the traditional custodians of these lands. We extend this respect to elders’ past, present and emerging, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
